Chia Balls

Why Chia Seeds?

Chia seeds are packed with Omega 3 fatty acids, rich in iron, calcium, and fiber, and also a great source of antioxidants.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup all natural peanut butter

1 1/2 cup oats of choice

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup ground flax

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup local honey

1/4 dark chocolate chips

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt


Directions:

Whisk together the honey and peanut butter

To this mixture add chia seeds, ground flax, oats, coconut, cinnamon and salt. Mix well.

Stir in chocolate chips if desired.

Roll mixture into balls and refrigerate.
