12 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Jenn was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario where she currently practices and resides with her family.    Jenn spent 12 years in full time study while working in multiple research labs on campus and raising a family.  She started at Fanshawe College in 2006, attended Western University in 2010, and ending with completion of her naturopathic doctorate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine from 2014-2018.
Jenn has a special interest in pain management, since this effects many of her patients, and in digestive health as she feels this is where most disease processes start.
She also considers herself an advocate for female health and has worked hard to become fluent in the pathologies that effect women the most.
Jenn takes her “Doctor as Teacher” oath very seriously and spends a lot time helping her patients to understand the symptoms of their illness and how the treatments she prescribes will help to shift the state of their disease.  She also teaches workshops, herb walks and conducts talks to engage people in natural healing modalities.
Her favourite treatments are herbal medicine and acupuncture but Jenn says that one of the reasons Naturopathic Medicine is so effective is because there are so many healing tools for Naturopaths to choose from.   Book an appointment with Dr. Jenn South ND to explore the options that naturopathic medicine provides and start to feel good again.
